Broken links and forms
Links that lead nowhere, buttons that do nothing, and forms a visitor cannot get through. Each one is pinned to the page and the element where it happens.
Sightline for agencies and web studios
For the sites you build and run for clients. Sightline reads a client's public pages and reports broken links and forms, unclear or contradictory claims, pages that fail on a phone, and gaps in basic web security hygiene. Every finding comes with its evidence and lands on a to-do list for the page it belongs to. It is not a prospecting tool: it never runs on a site you are pitching.
What Sightline checks
Every finding carries the exact text, link or response it came from, so nobody has to take it on faith, and it lands on a to-do list for the page it belongs to.
Links that lead nowhere, buttons that do nothing, and forms a visitor cannot get through. Each one is pinned to the page and the element where it happens.
A price on one page and a different one on another, a feature promised in the hero and missing further down, copy a first-time visitor cannot follow.
Layouts that scroll sideways, controls too small to tap, content that disappears on a narrow screen.
Response headers, cookie flags and certificate setup, read from what the site already returns to any visitor.
How it works
Add a client's domain
Only a site you build or run for a client who has agreed to the check. The domain is verified with one DNS record, added by whoever manages the client's DNS with the client's say-so.
Run Sightline
It reads the public pages across the site, and you can watch it work through them page by page while it runs.
Work the per-page to-do list
Each page closes with its own list of fixes in rank order, with the severity and a rough effort for each, ready to drop into your tracker.
Re-check after changes
Run it again when the fixes ship, or turn on the weekly re-scan for that domain, so the next report shows what is still open.
What it never does
Plans
Sightline is a monthly subscription for each client domain, and a single report costs the same as one month of its plan. Accounts are by invitation for now. See the plans and what each includes →
